Erin Flynn
Dancer and choreographer

A native of Winnipeg, Erin Flynn has lived and worked in Montreal since 2001. In the last ten years, she has danced with Le Groupe de la Place Royale, Ruth Cansfield Dance, Trip Dance, Tusket Dance, AHHA and Public Recordings, and for the last four years, she has danced with Van Grimde Corps Secrets. Her career has led her to perform on stages across Canada, as well as in France, Holland and Germany. Her collaborations with several creators, have given her the opportunity to explore many different choreographic processes, including those of Rachel Browne, LeSandra Dodson, Sylvain Émard, Hinda Essadiqi, Tammy Forsythe, Andrew Harwood, Ame Henderson, Karen Kuzak, Andrew Tay & Sacha Kleinplatz, Dean Makarenko and Chanti Wadge. In Montreal, she produces the Pixel Projects, a choreographic series, and teaches contemporary dance at Université de Montréal. With Vertice Collective’s, Erin Flynn created Alcove, a choreographic piece that was presented at Tangente in April 2006.

Esther Gaudette
Dancer
A graduate of École de danse de Québec in 2002, Esther began her career with Sursaut, a dance company based in Sherbrooke city, performing in several pieces and developing her skills in acrobatics, theatricality and creation. Since her arrival in Montreal, she has taught dance in various schools while discovering an interest in the world of cinema. In 2002, she played the role of Angela in L’Espérance, a film by Stefan Pleszczynski. That same year, she danced with Lucie Boissinot in Soupirs d’Äme, a medium-length feature by director Helen Doyle. Esther has danced for Van Grimde Corps Secrets since November 2004.


 
Ceinwen Gobert
Dancer

Ceinwen Gobert is a dance graduate from the University of Calgary and from the School of Alberta Ballet. As a freelance artist, she has danced in Europe, Mexico, and several Canadian cities for W&M Physical Theatre, Kahawi Dance Theatre, Allan Kaeja, Earth in Motion Indigenous World Dance Company, L'Astragale and Tomali Pictures Ltd. With Van Grimde Corps Secrets, she participated in the creation and touring of Les chemins de traverse and Vortex.Trois-Rivières.



 
Berit Jentzsch
Dancer

Born in Germany in 1979, Berit Jentzsch studied dance at the Palucca Schule Dresden – Hochschule für Tanz, graduating in 1998. Since then, she has participated in several projects with different companies and choreographers across Europe, including Theatre St. Gallen/ Philipp Egli, Galili Dance/ Itzik Galili, MS-Tanzwerk/ Mario Heinemann and ultima vez/ Wim Vandekeybus. She participed in the creation and touring of Les chemins de traverse III, IV and V. She is regularly invited to teach workshops in several European cities.



 

Pierre-Marc Ouellette
Dancer

Pierre-Marc Ouellette graduated from Les Ateliers de Danse Moderne de Montréal (LADMMI) in May 2005. As a student at LADMMI, he had the opportunity to perform in choreographies by Margie Gillis and by Lucie Boissinot, among many others. Since then, Pierre-Marc has worked with Erin Flynn, Marie Béland and Louise Bédard. He joined the ranks of Fortier Danse Création in July 2005 and of Van Grimde Corps Secrets in December 2005.
